Can I visit the club before I enrol my child?
Yes absolutely. We would encourage anyone thinking of enrolling their child with Club Kidz to come along and, of course, bring your child with you to see what we do. Phone us (0845 319 8300) or email us annette@clubkidz.co.uk to arrange a viewing.
How do I enrol my child for the club?
Places at the club are limited. Each setting has a maximum number of children allowed at any one time - If you are interested in a place, please Phone us (0845 319 8300) or email us annette@clubkidz.co.uk to find out the current places available. We run a waiting list that we actively manage to maximise access to the club.
If we are able to offer you a place we will send you a registration form to return to the club, and we ask that you pay a deposit in advance to secure your place. We also would encourage a visit so you and your child can meet the staff and see the setting. If you sign up for a place we expect your child to attend every week, and require four weeks notice to cancel a place.
What happens when my child comes to the club?
The children are collected from their school by qualified playworkers. We collect children from the infants school (reception to year 2) from their classrooms, and collect the juniors (years 3-6) from a designated point in their playground
The children are then walked in a walking bus formation from their school to the Club Kidz setting
On arrival at the club the children choose a healthy snack and a drink and then have some fun!
We provide a range of organised and free choice activities for the children. We have different indoor areas including a craft corner, construction area, and a quite corner for reading.
How is the club run?
Our staff team is made up of a Club Manager, Club Deputy Manager, and several Play Workers. Most of our Play Workers have NVQ Level 2 Childcare qualifications and several are working or have achieved Level 3. Please see “Our Staff” page.
Our current club managers are Hanna Hall, Wendy Berriman, Amy Rosson, Phillipa Barker and Nikky Hart.
Their roles are to manage the day to day business of the club. They coordinate the activities for each session, working closely alongside our other staff.
Each session is well resourced with a variety of toys, games etc to meet all the children's interests and needs.
All staff have an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau checks and we are committed to ensure they have regular training.
Our office staff are responsible for invoicing, and collection of fees as well as other administrative tasks.
How Do I Pay My Fees?
Fee structure
The club charges an initial one-off Registration Fee of £18.00 per child. (Registration is an OFSTED requirement).
Registration fees are payable in advance.
Session fees are charged at:
- £7.50 per session for our Breakfast Clubs (07:30am till start of school)
- From £16.50 per session for our After School Clubs (pick-up to 6pm)
- £34.00 per day session for our Holiday Clubs (8.00am - 6.00pm)
An invoice will be sent on receipt of a booking.
Fees can then be paid by Childcare vouchers, bank transfer, cash.
We are also signed up to the Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme.
Club Kidz recognises that childcare can be costly, so we encourage eligible parents or carers to claim the childcare element of the Working Tax Credit.

There is a charge of £10 per child per ten minutes for late collection, which will be added to the next invoice
